Pay attention to your surroundings whilst you are driving. Take note of road signs and markings, let people know where you are going and ensure you can stop safely in the distance you can see in front of you.

It takes two to tango. Be aware of other road users and pedestrians and where they are going, react accordingly.
Let other road users know where you are going. This is seen a lot that indicators are not being used, despite other road users guessing by speed and the position you have adopted, incidents will still happen, expensive repairs will then follow.
